GHSA-g9f6-9775-hffm · Severity: low · Ecosystem: go — Nhost Storage Affected by MIME Type Spoofing via Trusted Client Content-Type Header in Storage Upload
Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL. Prior to version 0.12.0, the storage service's file upload handler trusts the client-provided Content-Type header without performing server-side MIME type detection. This allows an attacker to upload files with an arbitrary MIME type, bypassing any MIME-type-based restrictions configured on storage buckets. This issue has been patched in version 0.12.0.
Conclusion & alert: CVE-2026-33221 is rated Low Risk (8.6/100): CVSS Low severity, with low exploitation likelihood (EPSS 0.01%). Mandatory action: Low composite risk—no urgent action required; patch on your normal maintenance cycle and revisit priority if CVSS or EPSS increases.
Risk is dynamic; we continuously reassess and refresh what is shown on this page as upstream context changes.
EPSS lead: Daily EPSS estimates relative likelihood of exploitation; percentile ranks this CVE among scored vulnerabilities (higher = more severe relative rank).
