Tracker summary

CVE-2019-19331 medium priority: Ubuntu including 1 source packages (knot-resolver), 18 status rows across 18 suites (bionic, disco, eoan, focal, groovy, hirsute, impish, jammy, kinetic, lunar, mantic, noble, oracular, plucky, questing, trusty, upstream, xenial): not-affected 8, ignored 5, needed 2, released 2, DNE 1.

Description:

knot-resolver before version 4.3.0 is vulnerable to denial of service through high CPU utilization. For example, a few thousand A records can be squashed into one DNS message (limit is 64kB).
