CVE-2025-14714 An Authentication Bypass vulnerability existed where the application bundled an interpreter (Python) that inherits the Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC) permissions granted by the user to the main application bundle By executing the bundled interpreter directly the attacker's scripts run with the application's TCC privileges In fixed versions parent-constraints are used to allow only the main application to launch interpreter with those permissions This issue affects LibreOffice 0.9 0.12% 2025-12-15 2026-02-18
CVE-2025-2866 Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature vulnerability in LibreOffice allows PDF Signature Spoofing by Improper Validation. In the affected versions of LibreOffice a flaw in the verification code for adbe.pkcs7.sha1 signatures could cause invalid signatures to be accepted as valid This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.8 before < 24.8.6, from 25.2 before < 25.2.2. 2.4 0.09% 2025-04-27 2025-11-03
CVE-2024-12425 Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in The Document Foundation LibreOffice allows Absolute Path Traversal. An attacker can write to arbitrary locations, albeit suffixed with ".ttf", by supplying a file in a format that supports embedded font files. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.8 before < 24.8.4. 2.4 0.29% 2025-01-07 2025-12-08
CVE-2019-9849 LibreOffice has a 'stealth mode' in which only documents from locations deemed 'trusted' are allowed to retrieve remote resources. This mode is not the default mode, but can be enabled by users who want to disable LibreOffice's ability to include remote resources within a document. A flaw existed where bullet graphics were omitted from this protection prior to version 6.2.5. This issue affects: Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.2.5. 4.3 3.10% 2019-07-17 2024-11-21
CVE-2021-25635 An Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed an attacker to self sign an ODF document, with a signature untrusted by the target, then modify it to change the signature algorithm to an invalid (or unknown to LibreOffice) algorithm and LibreOffice would incorrectly present such a signature with an unknown algorithm as a valid signature issued by a trusted person This issue affects LibreOffice: from 7.0 before 7.0.5, from 7.1 before 7.1.1. 5.2 0.12% 2025-03-21 2025-12-10
CVE-2023-2255 Improper access control in editor components of The Document Foundation LibreOffice allowed an attacker to craft a document that would cause external links to be loaded without prompt. In the affected versions of LibreOffice documents that used "floating frames" linked to external files, would load the contents of those frames without prompting the user for permission to do so. This was inconsistent with the treatment of other linked content in LibreOffice. This issue affects: The Document Found 5.3 2.24% 2023-05-25 2024-11-21
CVE-2020-12802 LibreOffice has a 'stealth mode' in which only documents from locations deemed 'trusted' are allowed to retrieve remote resources. This mode is not the default mode, but can be enabled by users who want to disable LibreOffice's ability to include remote resources within a document. A flaw existed where remote graphic links loaded from docx documents were omitted from this protection prior to version 6.4.4. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.4.4. 5.3 1.93% 2020-06-08 2024-11-21
CVE-2020-12801 If LibreOffice has an encrypted document open and crashes, that document is auto-saved encrypted. On restart, LibreOffice offers to restore the document and prompts for the password to decrypt it. If the recovery is successful, and if the file format of the recovered document was not LibreOffice's default ODF file format, then affected versions of LibreOffice default that subsequent saves of the document are unencrypted. This may lead to a user accidentally saving a MSOffice file format document 5.3 1.26% 2020-05-18 2024-11-21
CVE-2026-8358 LibreOffice Calc can import tracked changes from a spreadsheet document. A heap buffer overflow existed when a document reused the same change identifier for two different kinds of change. The importer then treated one change object as a different, larger type and wrote past the end of its allocation. In fixed versions records with a duplicate identifier are rejected. 5.4 0.13% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-8357 LibreOffice Calc compiles cell formulas when opening a spreadsheet. A heap buffer overflow existed when compiling a very long formula made up of many opening tokens. The array that tracks nesting depth was allocated one element too small for that worst case, so such a formula wrote one element past its end. In fixed versions the array is sized to hold the largest possible nesting. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-8356 LibreOffice can import presentations in the legacy binary PPT format. A stack buffer overflow existed when importing a colour-replacement record. Two fixed-size colour tables were filled from the file, but the write position was not reset between the two passes over the record, so a file whose combined colour counts exceeded the table size wrote past the end of the tables on the stack. In fixed versions the unused second pass is no longer read into those tables. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-6047 LibreOffice can import documents in the OOXML format (DOCX). A heap buffer overflow existed when replaying deferred parser events for a text box element. A handler object was assumed to be of one type and written to at that type's field layout, but it could be a smaller object, so the write landed past the end of the allocation. In fixed versions the type is checked before the write. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-6045 LibreOffice can import EMF+ graphics, which may be embedded in documents. A heap buffer overflow existed when importing an EMF+ gradient brush. The number of gradient blend points was read from the file and used to compute an allocation size, but that multiplication could overflow, so a small buffer was allocated and then filled as if it were large, writing past its end. In fixed versions the blend-point count is checked against the data actually available before allocating. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-6040 A heap use-after-free existed when importing the blank-width characters of an ODF number format. A position value read from the document was not checked against the length of the format-code string, so a malformed number format could be processed against memory outside that string. In fixed versions the position is bounds-checked before use. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-6039 LibreOffice can import drawings in the DXF format used by CAD software. A heap buffer overflow existed when importing a DXF polyline. The point count taken from the file was truncated to a 16-bit value when the point buffer was sized, while the full count was used to fill it, so a polyline whose point count exceeded the 16-bit range was written past the end of the buffer. In fixed versions such oversized polylines are rejected. 5.4 0.12% 2026-06-15 2026-06-15
CVE-2026-4430 Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in The Document Foundation LibreOffice via crafted OOXML documents with mismatched encryption salt parameters. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 26.2 before 26.2.3, from 25.8 before 25.8.7. 5.4 0.08% 2026-05-07 2026-05-08
CVE-2022-3140 LibreOffice supports Office URI Schemes to enable browser integration of LibreOffice with MS SharePoint server. An additional scheme 'vnd.libreoffice.command' specific to LibreOffice was added. In the affected versions of LibreOffice links using that scheme could be constructed to call internal macros with arbitrary arguments. Which when clicked on, or activated by document events, could result in arbitrary script execution without warning. This issue affects: The Document Foundation LibreOffice 6.3 4.35% 2022-10-11 2024-11-21
CVE-2024-3044 Unchecked script execution in Graphic on-click binding in affected LibreOffice versions allows an attacker to create a document which without prompt will execute scripts built-into LibreOffice on clicking a graphic. Such scripts were previously deemed trusted but are now deemed untrusted. 6.5 1.01% 2024-05-14 2025-12-10
CVE-2020-12803 ODF documents can contain forms to be filled out by the user. Similar to HTML forms, the contained form data can be submitted to a URI, for example, to an external web server. To create submittable forms, ODF implements the XForms W3C standard, which allows data to be submitted without the need for macros or other active scripting Prior to version 6.4.4 LibreOffice allowed forms to be submitted to any URI, including file: URIs, enabling form submissions to overwrite local files. User-interaction 6.5 1.72% 2020-06-08 2024-11-21
CVE-2024-12426 Exposure of Environmental Variables and arbitrary INI file values to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in The Document Foundation LibreOffice. URLs could be constructed which expanded environmental variables or INI file values, so potentially sensitive information could be exfiltrated to a remote server on opening a document containing such links. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.8 before < 24.8.4. 6.7 0.45% 2025-01-07 2025-12-08
